Floods Assessment and Union Council (UC) Ranking – UNOCHA/UNDP Pakistan

This publication presented a data-driven methodology to assess the impact of large-scale flooding in Pakistan, ranking Union Councils (UCs) based on severity of damage and humanitarian needs. Using geospatial analysis, field data, and socio-economic indicators, the study supported the Government of Pakistan and humanitarian partners in prioritizing response efforts and allocating resources more effectively. The ranking framework has since informed coordinated relief planning and improved transparency in disaster response.

Master’s Final Year Project – Spatial Analysis for Public Health (Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health)

For my Master of Applied Science in Spatial Analysis for Public Health, my capstone project focused on applying GIS and data science techniques to examine spatial patterns in public health outcomes. The project combined geostatistical modeling, demographic data, and environmental variables to identify geographic disparities and inform targeted interventions. The research demonstrated how spatial analytics can uncover hidden drivers of health inequities and improve evidence-based decision-making in global health programs.
